Robert C. Turner, CPCU
President
Robbie began his career in the insurance industry in 1985. After working with Palmer & Cay for 18 years and serving as the branch manager for six of those years, he was able to acquire the Brunswick office in 2003. Mr. Turner holds a Georgia Property and Casualty license, a Life and Health license and a Surplus Lines license. In addition, he holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, as well as, many non-resident licenses. Mr. Turner earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia. He served on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia. Robbie is also on the City of Brunswick Audit Committee and has served as president of the Brunswick Rotary Club. He has also served as Director of the Golden Isles Home Builders Association and was on the Water & Sewer Administration Board for Glynn County. He is a member of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church Leadership Forum, he is a former board member of the Gathering Place and active for over 25 years, and is a past board member and founding member of the Golden Isles Emmaus. He is a member of The Chapel, a United Methodist Church. Robbie is married to Betsy and they have three children, Andrew, Brian and Lauren.

Cheryl Crews
Director of Operations
Cheryl has been employed with Palmer & Cay, and then Turner & Associates since 1997. She obtained her Georgia Property and Casualty Agent License in 1998. Cheryl is the Personal Lines Manager, works in commercial lines, supervises our accounting department, and handles the administrative duties in the office. She is a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church and a member of the Golden Isles Emmaus community. Cheryl is married to Jerry, has two daughters, Dana and Jenny and three grandsons - Tucker, Waylon, and Easton.

Brian C. Turner, CPCU, ARM

Brian joined Turner & Associates in 2018. Prior to relocating to the Golden Isles, Brian lived in Atlanta, GA for six years. He has two years of personal lines underwriting experience with Liberty Mutual Insurance and four years’ experience as a Senior Underwriter with Chubb Global Casualty. Brian specializes in offering customized risk management products specifically designed to manage the overall cost of risk. Brian holds a Georgia Property and Casualty Agent License as well as the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations. Brian graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance and Management with a minor in Consumer Economics. In his spare time, Brian enjoys traveling, playing golf, and relaxing in the boat.

D. Jarrett Bridges

Jarrett joined Turner & Associates in 2004 and began his career in commercial insurance and risk management solutions. His areas of expertise include Property/Casualty insurance design, Total Cost of Risk Analysis, Risk Reduction Strategies, Risk Placement, Program Implementation, Program Marketing, Metric Reviews, and Risk Transfer. Jarrett's industry specialties include Heavy Construction, Contractors, Trenchless Sewer / Rehab Specialists, Distributors, Manufacturers, and Wholesalers. Jarrett holds his Property & Casualty license for Georgia. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration. He is currently pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Jarrett has strong ties to the Golden Isles Community and is involved in the following: Member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Chairman of Trustees - Wesley United Methodist Church, Secretary - Treasurer of Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, Graduate and Former Co-Chair of Leadership Glynn, March of Dimes, and the local Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. On a state level, Jarrett is the Committee Chair of InsurPac - the political action committee for the Independent Agents of Georgia. He is also involved in the Emerging Leaders Program of Keystone Insurers Group. Jarrett is married to Courtney and they have two children, Finley and Breaker.

Sean Stewart

Sean has been serving his clients since 2010 and joined Turner & Associates in January of 2013. A graduate of Valdosta State University, he relocated to the Golden Isles and has been an active member in the community ever since. Sean is a graduate of Leadership Glynn and has served as the Chair for Youth Leadership Glynn and Ambassador Chair for the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce. He is the Head Middle School Boys Basketball Coach at Frederica Academy, and also serves on a regional non profit advocating the needs of those afflicted with Brain cancer. In addition to serving his community, Sean also serves within the insurance industry and was recently elected Chairman for the Young Agent Committee for the entire state of Georgia. This comes with a four year commitment that will eventually lead to Sean serving as the Chairman of the committee. He and his wife Lindsay live on St. Simons Island with their daughter Kersey Ann, son Porter and dog, Mabel. The Stewarts are members of St. Simon's Community Church and serve in youth ministry.

Rick Williams

Rick joined Turner & Associates in 2018 and holds his Georgia and Florida Property & Casualty licenses. Rick works to protect his clients’ interests by a proactive risk management approach. Rick’s focus is on mid-sized growth oriented companies with an emphasis on the landscape and construction industries. Rick is a graduate of Georgia College & State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. Rick was a member of GCSU’s baseball team which were Peach Belt Conference champions in 2006 and 2007. Rick served his clients at Pennington Seed prior to joining T&A. Rick’s Pennington career was focused primarily on growth of strategic markets for the company: Richmond, Northern Virginia & DC, Atlanta, and Nashville. Rick is a partner at The Chapel, where he serves on the Board as well as the Finance Team. He is married to Amanda and they have two children George and McKinley.

Taylor S. Barron

Taylor joined Turner & Associates in November of 2018. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, he relocated to the Golden Isles to begin his career in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Turner & Associates, Taylor worked for State Farm and obtained licenses in both Georgia Property & Casualty and Life & Health. Taylor specializes in personal lines insurance and truly values helping his clients reduce their cost of risk. Taylor is a graduate and former co-chair of Leadership Glynn and a member of the 2020 Community Leadership Council through the United Way of Coastal Georgia. He is very active in the community and serves as an assistant coach for the Glynn Academy Varsity baseball team. He and his wife, Laura Anne, live on St. Simons with their son Bramblett and their dog Munson. The Barrons are members of St. Simons United Methodist Church.

Andrew Turner

Andrew graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. He then joined the Turner & Associates team and continued his education by obtaining his Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License and his Personal Lines Coverage Specialist designation. Andrew works in personal lines helping his customers reduce their cost of risk. Andrew is a graduate of Leadership Glynn, and a former board member of the Young Agents of Georgia. He is involved in the Golden Isles Realtor Association and volunteers with The Gathering Place as a 707 leader. Andrew is a member of St. Simons Presbyterian Church. He is married to Rebecca and they have three daughters, Mary West, Millie and Margaret Drew.
